Ali Taptık, If Nature is Heaven, the City is Hell

Ali Taptık is participating in the group exhibit titled "If Nature is Heaven, the City is Hell" at Cermodern, Ankara starting on February 25 th 2011. Curated by YAYGARA Contemporary Art Initiative, the exhibition examines the modern city and heroes of modern life, the title of the exhibit references Charles Baudelaire, considerred by many as the poet of modern society. The selection of works also feature; Ali Alışır, Ali Kazma, Anna Heidenhain, Ayça Telgeren, Başir Barlakov, Burcu Perçin, Cem Sonel, Erdal Duman, Erinç Ulusoy, Ersin Ersinhan, Fırat Engin, Gözde İlkin, Hatice Çiçe, İrem Tok, İrfan Önürmen, Jose M. Rodriguez, Lütfi Özden, Mehmet Ali Uysal, Mümtaz Demirkalp, Mustafa Duymaz, Nejat Satı, Olcay Kuş, Onur Gülfidan, Serap Üney, Serkan Demir, Sevket Arık, Volkan Aslan, Yaşam Şaşmazer, Zoe Baraton. The exhibition will continue till April 11, 2011.
