x-ist will take part in the Contemporary Istanbul with a selection of works, which will meet the audience for the first time after having been prepared exclusively for the fair by the 13 participating artists, at its usual place, the booth No A-501, where it welcomes the audience every year.

You can visit the special selection of works at x-ist’s booth No A-501 at Contemporary Istanbul. It consists of works by Ali Bilge Akkaya who pushes  the limits of aesthetic perfection in his photographs and goes out of the frame in his recent works, by Ansen who conveys his epic and utopian setups to the digital with an unusual use of media and whose works are a continuation of the Eastern wing of his last exhibition Codex Seragliensis, by Aylin Zaptçıoğlu who is nourished by the Eastern philosophy and symbolism and sets up scenes frozen in the moment, by Burçin Başar with her three dimensional installation exclusively set up for the fair, by Cem Dinlenmiş from his series where he addresses sociocultural change in terms of urban spaces, by Emin Mete Erdoğan with his series “Plants, Animals and Buildings”, by Erkut Terliksiz who destroys the perception of perfection and creates his own world with amorphous figures and the use of found materials, by Hüseyin Arıcı who breaks the perception of reality through perfect imitations and makes us question our beliefs, by Murat Palta who interprets cult movies in his works and will simultaneously meet the gallery audience with his exhibition “All Work and No Play”, by Seda Hepsev with her drawings to be exhibited for the first time, by Serkan Yüksel who focuses on social and individual memory in the subtext while meticulously constructing his layers, by Tayfun Gülnar from his new exhibition where he depicts the dark and chaotic world that he creates in a more refined language, and by Gülin Hayat Topdemir who starts to be represented in the new season by x-ist.
