Doğum: İstanbul, 1992
Sefa Karakuş graduated from Avni Akyol Anatolian Fine Arts High School, Painting Department in 2009 and received her undergraduate degree in Painting from Mimar Sinan Fine Arts University.
In his practice, Karakuş brings together the figurative painting tradition with a contemporary symbolic language, creating a distinctive field of expression. Through the use of dramatic light and shadow, he generates intense atmospheres, re-contextualizing everyday objects in unexpected settings to transform their function and meaning. This approach renders subconscious themes visible, carrying the depiction beyond the boundaries of realism and opening up a reflective space for the viewer.
